Thankfully we live in interesting times, or was it a curse?

It was quite expected after the 5 days clash with that much casualties. I could see this happening right the next day after Kosovo was declared by "some" countries independent.

Meanwhile, 8 NATO warships (with rockets of range 2,500 km) are in Georgia now and they are saying its a humanitarian aid?)) They cant stop lieing can they.

Thats also against UN rules, to supply Georgia with new high-tech weapons. Nevermind, well do the same in South Ossetia & Abkhaziya. If Georgia desides to attack again it will be even worse, cos now Russia is ready for any actions unlike on 8th Aug.

All they gonna do is "tough" talk. 8 Sitting ducks, they have no chance of escaping the Russian rockets.
Soon to follow - Russian strategic bombers in Cuba. Old cold war scenarios ignited by Bush.

Bush is against peace for sure. Maybe that's what he stands for. Confrontations so the US military industrial complex can sell more weapons to other countries and to rob the US tax payer for defending America against the "bad Russia".

Don't worry. When the Democrats win, they'll straighten everything out.

    Peace,

Perhaps we could expect a recognition of Northern Cyprus from Russia now as well. Nato wouldn't like it a bit either.

Northern Cyprus is not in russian interests, so they wont touch it.

One liberal politician said that this situation of "tough talks" is only until 6th Nov (the US elections). McCain needs it a lot, thats why his wife flew to Tbilisi ;)

In 2 months time everything will be back as usual.

There are de facto states such as Transnistri and Nagorno-Karabakh in the region, a lot of potential chaos may well awake after this.

I will start to issue my own passports now. Which one to choose as my ally ?

    1. US ( Kosovo )
    2. Russia ( SO, Abkhazia )

I am opressed by the local authority ! There will be 4 citizens in my country!

cant wait for the double standard US government reaction to russia recognizing the new independent states...

"we can rec. kosovo but you cant rec. s.o. and abkhazia and were gonna pretend its not the same and send MCcains wife to act important"
