Multiple AdSense accounts?

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by kappaknight, Aug 26, 2008.

I know AdSense TOS says each person can only have one AdSense account. However, is it common for webmasters to manage multiple ones? (Say... one for personal use and one for business use?)

The reason I ask is because I'm working on a program for AdSense reporting and wanted to know if it's necessary to worry about multiple accounts or if it's of little concern.

    Thanks!

i dont think so.. and if people do they wont admit to it.

Im sure if you had a "wife, friend, family member" you could put it in their name, but i dont really see the point, easier to manage one account than several.

I think play it safe and keep all your ads in one account.

Some of the more successful folks will incorporate when a site becomes profitable enough to justify the cost. Since a corporation is a separate entity it can have it's own adsense account.

I do "manage" more than 1 account. I log into both of them consequently with no problems.

    Peace,

No, this would not be Ok. However, if you, say, run two corporate entities, each entity is allowed its own AdSense account. But, you cannot have more than one account under the same Tax ID and address.

Read the TOS again... I think it is a huge problem (all accounts will be disabled)

How bold are you to acknowledge in public that you do own multiple accounts; sooner or later google will come to know about it...

If the accounts are for separate tax entities, is it still a problem for one person to manage multiple ones? I can somewhat see what they're trying to do to limit accounts, but sometimes the income really need to be separated.

I have them under LLC's and if you check around like shoe money was the first to get me started on it. he said something like once its making 3000 a month make an llc for that one, so if it does happen to get closed you will be allright.
But for my protection, I dont have any of my sites with adsense posted in any forums, thats a way to get banned in my opinion...
Good Luck and dont worry bout it.

I got permission from the Adsense team before doing so.

As long as they are separate entities, there should't be any problem.

    Peace,

I suggest you contact adsense and ask them if it is ok to have one personal and one business account.

Multiple account is always a cat on the wall. Once in a while you will be caught and kicked out of Adsense.
