Having "free games" in the anchor will slowly help you rank for it yes. But if you are going to do that and try to get links with 3 words in them, make the 3rd word something useful then. "oh free games" has no search volume at all. So while you are building links, you will start to rank for "oh free games" faster than "free games", and you probably won't have difficulty ranking #1 for that term - but nobody is searching for it. "online free games" on the other hand, has 15,000+ searches/day. Yes it's very competitive, but when you start to rank for it you'll actually get something out of it. Would you rather rank for "oh free games" and "free games" OR "online free games" and "free games"
Thanks Christian, the reason is I can get more valuable natural/organic links with anchor title as my sitename than anchor that is obviously for seo purposes.
Yes it can help but the keyword "Free Games" is very competitive. So you must do off page optimization and get backlinks using "Free Games" as title or anchor text.
