Yes! Very well written and quite thorough to say the least. Thank you for taking the time. It's important that we get some idea on where you derived your research from. May we ask where you acquired your research material in preparation of writing the appraisal guide? Thank you...

    Hi Danielregwan.

    Thanks for your reply.
    -----------------------------------------
I did had an offer for my domain. networkyachts.com

This is a part of the email i received.
    -----------------------------------------
    Hi.

We are involved in the yachting and boating business(part-time business).
Your domain met's our needs perfect.
we are very interesting to buy your domain. We want to use your domain, to redirect it to another website:confused:
    Would you except $xx.xxx?

    Highest Regards

    Yujin xxxxxxxx
    ------------------------------------------
I Want except this offer, and I will explain why is that.
I refused the offer because,I don't need the money so badly, and I don't believe, that they want to buy my domain, and redirect it to another(The buyer is most probably lying) web site.
But, I do believe, that the value of the domain, is more high from the offer i have received.
I have searched on google and all the good yacht domains has gone already.
I Find one that I like very much. YachtDivers.com. I had check it on dnScoop(Thank You For Point Me On This Web Site) and the value it gives me is $0.000
This domain is for sale for a good ammount of money $x,xxx,xx but not even half price, from the offer i have received though.
    -------------------------------------------
Can dnscoop.com get it wrong ? or name appraisals are worthless?
Also Can I have more appraised opinions please, form other members of the forum?

This guide is very useful. It is also interesting that the people who post have more than 1000 posts (50% of them). That comes to show that reading the rules and terms is something that very good peoples do

    Correctus

As Correctus is saying with L' and N's (letters and numbers) it's also important to know
the terminology with four character (dot) com's. Expression's like pronounceable vccv.com's
(eg 'omni'.com) or cvcv.com's (eg 'maca'.com) generally refer to 'constants' and 'vowels'
and are highly prized amongst domainers and end users alike. The term CCC.com's or CCCC.com's
refers to 'character' and is the general term that encompasses all the other expressions
together. CCCC being either NNLL, NNNN, LLLL, CVCV, CCCC, VVVV, are all characters which
everway you look at it. It's also the wisest way to post if the domain name you wish to sell
contains numbers in it. Another less common term but still relevant is LDL.com's D='dash'
but I rarely see this expression posted in any of the domaining forum's. Here's a funny one
    I saw once:

    want to sell $$$$.com:D:rolleyes:

guess we all know the value associated with the
CCCC.com's so it's kind of self explanatory
    Hope this helps.:)

    Hello All -

I would greatly appreciate any input regarding the value of these domains.
The first 4 could be used for a wide array of market. Alternative energy, making people aware of 'green' products, making people aware of the US dependency on oil and asking them to donate. I have owned the 4 domains below for approximately 1 year.
    1) WWW.OILFREEUS.COM
    2) WWW.HELPSTOPOIL.Com
    3) WWW.BREAKFREEFROMOIL.COM
    4) WWW.OIL-ALTERNATVES.COM

This URL is pretty self explanatory. There are a number of sites that charge for data that is readily available to the public (background checks, tax/real estate information etc...). This site could have the links to the resources and have members pay a small fee per use for the service or a subscription good for 1, 2 5 years etc... I have also owned this domain for approximately 1 year.
    5) WWW.SEARCHPUBLICDATA.COM

    Thank you for your input!!!

    - Rob
