Results are being obtained by directly accessing Google, Ask, Yahoo and Live data from a dedicated server situated in USA. But from I can tell, servers at Google are not perfectly synced, so for example if you query Google from New York, it maybe a bit off as for example server in Los Angeles. So there is nothing I can really do about little discrepancies. But don't worry, differences will be really minimal and tool still gives you a very good picture of what is happening with your site indexing.
    Anyhow, very good question, thanks.

Originally, it was just to track the indexing, hence the name TrackIndexing.com, but I am thinking, maybe I should add more tools to the site. What would you recommend and what types of enhancements would you want to have available?

I LOVE THIS TOOL (and just posted a link an post on my SEO blog about it)!!!!!!

Would it be possible to have the data downloadable (graphics, Excel or .CSV - unbranded) or custom branded for my clients? I would be willing to pay additional for it.

Hi, thanks for mentioning it on your blog. I am getting some new visitors through your site already.
Of course, it'll be possible to make the stats downloadable as .CSV, that shouldn't be a problem to add.
Regarding custom branding, please comment little more on that idea, as I am not sure what exactly you had in mind.

Ok guys, I think I've managed to add Google's PR to your tracked domains!

So, starting today (26.Aug.2008) you'll be also able to track Google Page Rank of your domains and subdomains.

Records are either updated/refreshed whenever you type in your domain name, or for $12 a year I can do it automatically (on daily bases).

    Here is a screenshot. ENJOY!

    :D

 Wow.. that was quick! and it works well, much appreciated.
Do Yahoo provide an API for site explorer?
Although not necessary, it would be nice to have a history record of back links from site explorer.
That would truly make this a one stop shop for stat checking.

Thanks again.. btw, nice PP ;)

    Cheers

    Which back-links, from https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com ?

Is the number we're talking about the number of PAGES or INLINKS?

And, how would you want this implemented?

Just another column, with the number and let it link to Yahoo's site?

Let me know and I would implement it.

    Inlinks. (backlinks)

When you do a check of a site it gives you the option for "only this URL" (default) or "Entire site".
Entire site would probably be my choice.
Having a look at it, and switching from the default to "Entire site" changes =u to =s at the end of the address..

So yeah.. implementing the inlinks to the entire site would be awesome!

    Cheers
