What do the tops affiliates use or which is the most profitable one ?

Astore or Caraousel or what ?

Astore is effective and easy.

 

I seem to do best with "link to an amazon page" and context advertising...

 

Best thing to do is to make a widget of your own that doesn't send your hard earned visitors off your site. I don't think any top associates are using an astore. The top associates are the larger comparison shopping engines like shopping.yahoo.com etc.

I think it depends on you get traffic into Amazon. The greater traffic the better. a good think is astore can do with seo and ppc but Contextual link directly to Amazon only ppc or through your site.

 

Absolutely true. Which marketing tools are most effective depends on your site, but whatever you choose, sending people away from your site, no matter if it's an aStore or similar isn't the most effective way.

Presell them on your own site, then directly send them to Amazon, skip any further steps/jumps. Why does Amazon offer one click orders? Because every additional step could mean lost sales, it's the same with your site.

 

The MP3 and Video widgets seem to give me a couple sales a week. I find that the Caraousel's help make the pages look good if you are making a site with those products on it just adds a little special effect. So it can give you something just nothing special.
