I need to increase the ranking of website http://www.techexpertnotes.com/ Any suggestion? I am quite new to this link exchange and all. Rachel
You should concentrate yourself to get quality backlinks, if you are looking for ranking. More backlinks, good ranking but if you think also about traffics for your site with ranking then you have to put your site link to most popular sites or related theme sites. Because if you will do directory submission then you can get some backlinks for your site only and that can be effect your ranking but you would not get good amount of traffics from there. If you are doing article submission or forum posting then you can get backlinks with good amount of traffics. You can do press release submission, bookmark your site to social bookmarking sites, blog commenting and if you are interested to exchange then you can use link exchange also, but as i know till now link exchange is not more effective. So, you should think first for one way links from reputed and theme related sites. Thanks
I agree with Manual_Submission_Team and you should remember that linkbuilding is an ongoing process you should be constantly building backlinks to reap the benefits.
You can also submit your site to social bookmarks that are do follow. Make sure all your back links are from do follow sites, if not they wont benefit your page rank
I would suggest that you focus on directory submissions. These will boost your page rank as well as link popularity because they are one way links.
Quite frankly, before you should even think about ranking, you need to make sure your site is worth visiting in the first place. And once you have the visitor stop by, you need to hold their attention. Your site may have a lot of valuable information, but it is not organized. The grammar is bad. There is no consistency between pages (different font sizes, colors). I am sure you would rank well for a lot of the stuff you have on the site. But, that is the easy part. Getting one or two valuable links will get your stuff ranked well. You need to concentrate on holding your audience, and not worry about the links. The links will come with time, but visitors will leave in the blink of an eye.
If I were you, I would read blogs on SEO and marketing your website and leave comments. Make sure the blogs do not use the nofollow attribute. That way, you can learn about SEO and get some links. I would read some blogs about your business as well and leave comments there so you can get links from relevant blogs. Make sure you leave good comments that are not spammy and site owners will be happy to share link juice with you
