Mailing List

Hello,

I am interested in making a Mailing List of the visitors of my website . I am looking for suggestion of what will be the best option out of the following

1. Use Google Groups
2. Use Yahoo Groups
3. Use a custom PHP script hosted on my hosting . If you say this option could you tell me of some Good Free Script ?

I would be wanting to send HTML e-mails , But it seems Google Groups Doesnt have that feature .
Yahoo Groups does have that feature but only people having a Yahoo E-mail ID can joing the group and also there is no box which I could put on my website for Yahoo Groups for people to subscribe.
With a PHP Script hosted on my own server I could run in problem if say some body who subscribed willingly then complains that I didnt subscribe and call me a spammer.

Could anyone help me ?

why don't you use a mailing service like graphicmail, aweber, or icontact?

 

Didnt know about these , Checking them out now . Which one of these 3 you suggest ? And are they free ?

Nothing is free friend....aweber is good but expensive..

 

There are some simple PHP script availalable for free at HotScripts , Have you ever hosted a mailing list on your own hosting ? Could I face any problem if I use those?

 

I also looking for email marketing I know aweber is good but in the first trial I would like to try on Free. So I used to setup mailing manager in my hosting but when sent out it's not working.

Do anybody suggest the free and good work of php script mailing list management?

I think google group is better then yahoo bcoz in yahoo you will get alot spam messages.

 

own mailiing list is best.. wat will u do if your group is banned by google ..
