My apologies to all. This is rather embarrassing, to say the least. However, this directory is owned by a group and it was one of my partners who set up the PayPal account. I've emailed him about the problem and I will get back to anyone who has contacted me or tried to submit a non-free link as soon as I hear back from him.

 

Afterthought:

If this isn't fixed by midnight tomorrow( 2400 hrs EDT Sunday May May 14, 2006), all submissions that meet the criteria between now and then will be free.

 

Hmm. You want us to submit now? ...but then they will already be submitted and the mechanism for collecting payment will be gone when it is fixed. Will you request payment manually or did you have something else in mind? Just wanted to mention in case it is something you might not have thought about for this idea.

 

Either way. If it's fixed tomorrow (Sunday - actually today by now for me), we can manually invoice. If not, you get a bonus listing.

My partner is out of contact today. I'm in the process now of honoring my promise to approve any links submitted by midnight tonight without cost, providing they meet the forum criteria (no AdSense scraper sites, warez sites, or porn sites, please, and no "under construction" sites).

Thanks, mystik! I think I've made it through most of the list of DP submissions now - just a couple more left.

 

Update: Payments for non-member standard listings and featured listings are now operational again.

All appropriate submissions up to midnight EDT Sunday May 14, 2006 (and even a few that were a little later) have been approved.

The "free offer" is now closed (although of course you can still obtain free listings as a BoG member with 10+ posts).
