Site got removed from Google Index all of a sudden, no idea why! :-(

I got 240 visitors through search engine yesterday and 0 today! My blog is a new blog which is 2 weeks old and has 10 articles so far. I never used any bad techniques and I am in Wordpress CMS.

Can anyone explain why this is happening to me?

I have submitted my site for reconsideration. My site is no where to be found even in the first 10 pages! and 2 days back it was ranking among top 10 for various keywords!

Has your blog or website suffered like this in initial stages?

Have a look at this... Doesn't feel good :(

yes, new sites often go through this. I am sure you some of your pages were ranking high and than lost all the rankings, from #5 to #95 something for example ?

Yaeh, it's cos your site is new and hasn't got a pagerank to keep your site stable within the SERP'S. When google initially found your website it ranked it highly and now it doesn't rank so highly because it isn't an authority and is relatively new.

Don't sweat it so much dude, Google does this all the time with new sites. You can't worry about it for now.. Just keep working on your articles, making solid content, and make sure to keep your site updated regularly! Google loves activity. Anything new, it loves to re-spider it, so keep up on it! Congrats on the nice rankings, especially with such a new site, that's great! Just keep up with everything, and you'll do fine!

Are you using original content? If you're using duplicate content, that could be the problem.

Just wondering about my own blog. If I write tutorials, would that be seen as duplicate content as loads of other websites have tutorials?

This is pretty common in Google results, especially among new sites. Just focus on developing more unique content and hold on tight :)

No, not if the sentences and phrases are not the same as the content of other sites. The search engines look for very similar or the same wording. If they can't find it then you're fine.

Write and update your own content and you are absolutely fine.

It's also happened to two of my sites recently. One happened a couple of weeks back, and popped back into serps about a week later. Another got hit ~3 days ago, and I still haven't seen any sign of it.

Just link build, and when G does decide to bring you back into the real world, you'll be higher in the results than before.
