    I just upgraded my vBulletin for my forum www.go4expert.com to brand free option and was just willing to get your opinion if anybody else has done that before for their forum.

    I just tried posting the poll but the Poll Options does not seem to be showing up.

    Mod can you add the poll with the following options

    Yes I have.
    No I don't have.
    No but have plan in the future.

    I think it is good for SEO, you can finally put whatever you want in the Title, it is worth the cost.

    I don't see any point to be honest as usually a vBulletin forum always does look like a vBulletin forum. (if you get that).

    Yeap true, but most people wants it to look like a VB forum also. They liked it I presumed. The point is the ability to change the title and footer text and anchor links which will help in the forum SEO to a certain extent.

    I got the branding free option for one of my forum/sites.
    The others though no because it's a forum.

    You can change the title without the branding free option.

    The branding free option only removes the copyright TEXT (no link there anyway) from the footer. You can remove the "Powered By vBulletin" from the title tag without getting the branding free option.

    There is no restriction on the Title and so I don't think there is any SEO option. Even DP has Title changed but has the footer in tact which means its not brand free.

    Also I like the forum to be like the one people are used to and so its not for look. I have changed the look of one of them ( Unofficial Google Club link in sig ).

    The only reason for me to buy is for my home page.

    You don't even have to have the footer copyright. You can make it am image and it's still ok.

    u know... when you buy a Mercedes Benz... will you pay the same money as for the car just to remove the Mercedes Star?
    I tell you what... if I want to break it off, I do it - I paid for the car and well if I ask a worker to do this for me it will still not cost me the same amount as the car had cost - you get my point? And so I think it is just a huge brazenness to ask for money when someone is removing the branding from the "all day used" pages and the footer... it still is not overseeable this soft is vBulletin in several other points. This branding thing is just unbelievable infame.

    I use the debranding add on, as I prefer having as little off topic text as possible.... plus why should I advertise vB when Ive already paid for the software?
