Seriously...who buys Ebooks?

Worst part is that you can actually spend $7

 

I just bought one. And that wont claim youre gonna rich in 1 hour. And thats help me. But yeah thats true most of it just garbage

Nobody would ever sell a trick that brings him thousnads of dollars every month for just $5 or even $50. He does because it doesn't work. SIMPLE.

JUST GET THIS POINT: If they are making so much money with some clever trick, they wouldn't need to try make money by selling an ebook. "I made $56,789 in one month. Learn how by buying this ebook for $29!!" Does this make any sense? Just use your brains guys.

And these ebook sellers make money buy selling their crap ebooks, not by IMPLEMENTING their ideas they write about.

Lol only messing. But I think you miss the point - he wasn't saying your book was shit just that it's weird people buy them. Don't be so defensive.
I agree too, I don't like to buy something unless I can flick through it first to check the content. I also couldn't see myself reading that much text on a screen. Thirdly I realise that all the information you need can be found for free, places like this website. But maybe that's just me.

It's strange but really blatant in-your-face marketing seems to work the best... people just want quick fixes but the sooner they learn they don't exist... the less money everyone else will make :S

 

Nothing wrong with buying an ebook if its well written by a reputable expert in the field being discussed. Aaron Wall's seobook is a great example of an ebook that is worth buying if you don't have much experience with SEO or just started learning how to promote websites.

 

I've bought one or two, and have been pleased. In those cases its a situation where the author has a good tip and doesn't want to give it away free.

So its not really so much an eBook as an ePamphlet, but a good tip is worth a few bucks. Its also nice to charge a couple bucks so not everyone will know it.

I agree that the basic logic of "I make XX,XXX dollars per day, and still have time to sell my $XX ebook" makes no sense. But by being able to reason well enough to figure that out, you've placed yourself outside the target demographic.

Throw out anyone smart enough to know that doesn't make any sense, and the design, the bright colors, and the big text suddenly makes sense. Its a lot like car ads - they're terrible looking, obnoxious and loud - but you know how much they are selling BRAND NEW CHEVROLETS for by the time its over.

Also remember that anyone who would buy the book wants to believe the hype. . There are a lot of dumb people who are sick as hell of their crappy jobs looking for an easy way to make a ton of money with no work.

Its not my bag, but I can see how it would work.

 

Well On Internet there are all kind of people with all kind of intention and intelligence. So you just need to target a particular section of the crowd. and this what these books do. I have no problem with the authors doing it or selling 30 page book for $50 as long as all the facts are truth, including the once mentioned in sales letter.

if somebody earn good money by doing something why he is telling the method for few quid, he can earn more by doing what is in the ebook

This is something loads of people (speically noobs) forget. they just buy the ebook of thinking of getting rich. the person who sells the ebook makes money by selling it rather than using the method described in the ebook

there are loads good ebooks as well. but they are not aimed at getting rich quickly. (by hard work)

 

I'd never buy one titled "MAKE MONEY BY WORKING 1 HOUR A WEEK!!!" -- but I have purchased a few SEO-related e-books before. The first I purchased (and loved) was Joel Comm's SEO book. The second was Aaron Wall's aptly named "SEO Book." Both were well worth the money to me.

 

I've made a lot of money out of ebooks, so obviously tons of people buy them. There are lots of crap ones, but people still buy them, so obviously people keep selling them...

 

1 word describes it: SCAM

 

What would you rather buy:
A book that explains how to make $10,000 a week working one hour a day
or...
A book that explains how to make $500 a week working 12 hours a day


Obviously you guys would rather buy the second one and apparently already have.

Most of the people at DP are so incredibly clueless as to how "real" money is made online that when someone tells them straight up or they see someones site that is doing it, it just goes right over there head.
Its like they have blinders on to what really works to make money online.

The O.P.'s gonna go "blog" about this....... HAhahhaaa so typical.
Maybe if he makes 10 blog posts a day for the next 10 years he'll get enough traffic to make $100 a day from adsense or some other crap.

Meanwhile other people spend 1 week making a killer product and a killer sales page and then clean up for years and the only "work" they have to do daily is a small amount of maintenance, most of which includes checking their bank accounts.


If someone were to erase from their brain everything they have read at DP and then go read therichboy's post and then study his site to see what he's doing, they would have more than enough info to make as much money as they could ever use online.
Instead though people will continue to read threads about blogging and complain on forums about how some affiliate site is screwing them or their adsense isn't what it used to be. While other people that "get it" will continue to actually make tons of money from working very little.

You dont believe that therichboy only works 1 or 2 hours a day? well the proof is right there. He doesn't even post on forums, he's too busy NOT working online all day.
meanwhile other people that DONT make money are spending all day working (posting).

its very simple but for some reason you'll probably never understand it. You'll just continue to spend all day posting on forums, complaining about things and blogging.......

 

So what's wrong with that. Both internet marketing and blogging are different ways to make money. Some find success in one and some in other. IMO, it's better to do the hard work and blog to earn money then be some scammers, as all internet marketers are.

Most ppl are clueless about making money, you are right, and internet marketers thrive on these ppl.

Of course Richboy makes lot of money, not by the method he descibes in his ebook, but my selling his ebook. He is scamming ppl by selling sh1t. I think you are one who hasn't understood it. All the rest of the posters here have. That's why they are shooing him off.

Yeah, that's the first thing. And the second - don't expect 100% results since like 90% of all ebooks sold are simply for dummies and doesn't teach you something really innovative.
