I use PC and have never owned a Mac. I usually play round with the Macs in PCWorld, although I will consider buying one within the near future.
This thread AGAIN? How many more times? ATARI is where it's at. You know it. I know it. We all know it.
It's not just a keyboard - it's the ENTIRE COMPUTER! Floppy drive in the side and everything Atari rules!
Really? No wonder it was so big. I remember seeing that Atari before, but never had a chance of using it when I was a kid.
I had a few in the 90s (I used them for MIDI sequencing - they were famous for their rock solid MIDI clock), and I still have a MINT 1040 STe - still has that clear plastic stuff over the badges It doesn't get used anymore, and sits quietly on a shelf next to my boxed NES and Atari 2600 Jr. I love old crappy computers
The ST uses "The Operating System" aka TOS (great name!). It's kinda clunky, but very similar to early Macs - and very simple to use. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_TOS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_ST Those wiki links are actually worth a quick read, they're a nice little snippet of computer history
