Free MySQL Database

My hosting company does not provide much database space, when I bought a plan through them I didn't know much about designing etc. Is there any website which provides free MySQL database space which I can use for PHPBB Forum

 

I don't think that you'll find one that only allows you to host a database and connect it from another site. Best way is to get a host with database included!

I would switch hosts. Your website's performance will suffer a lot if you have to use a remote database. It's just not worth the trouble because there are so many hosts with huge amounts of storage for very cheap.

 

I agree, switch hosting. You want a local database for your forum, an external one would run horribly. Ditch the hosting and find something better.

You may use 10Go for the whole (Database and files). It's a french compagny ... I don't know if you can deal with french tongue.
Despite that amount of free space, I haven't find the way to provide redirection ...

Using any remote database from another datacenter will affect your site loading times like something stupid. Change your host so you dont get annoyed by using a remote database.

 

You can connect to any database from any server with the IP address as the host.

 

Hosting is relatively inexpensive these days. Feel free to research around for the best webhost that offers built-in MYSQL database, which is needed for your PHPBB forum.
