Is it good to make money online and also live in India?

Hi, I want to know if doing some online business can make you living like a king in India..??

I asked this question because living standard is cheap in India and if you make for example like us$300-$1000/a month from the internet then you can have a really good lifestyle in India, rite??

I think to make us$300-1000+ from internet is easy.

 

$300 - $1000 monthly is definitely a reachable goal. Work hard an be persistent and you'll get there.

 

yeah if we earn $500 everly month . it is a awesome amount for a indian citizen .

It depends on how u define "good lifestyle".With 300-$1000/month earnings,u cannot have good lifestyle in metro cities.

 

yeah i do agree with getjimmy...$1000 is very decent amount in small cities but in metro's its just a avg salary..Moreover if you want to spend lavishly then $1000 is even less for small cities

good lifestyle means going to western style supermarkets and buy american brand groceries, getting a cellphone and other electronics like tv,dc etc...

i don't understand why American brand groceries is considered a good lifestyle. I bet vons is loaded with imported foods.

Well I surely don't think so.. Homes in metros are as costly as in USA and All good cars (most of them imported) cost double (due to 102% duty).

For god's sake , I spend $500 a month only for my mobile bills

It also depends what a good lifestyle means to you

If a 1000 bucks gets you all the things you need and you are happy then its a good lifestyle.

1 dollar is roughly 50 rupee, so 1,000 dollars may be cutting it a bit short.

 

I got a good life style, I make less then 850 a months with my ads, I dont pay rent, Own it,

I dont drive a car, I take publick trasportation which the company pays for

I have magicjack , 89 for 5 years of phone service, So i dont need a cell phone, I have grandcentral and Aimphone for that, all for free.

I dont wear gap, banana republic or polo , I wear wranglers jeans.

I dont wear timberlands nikes or any expensive shoes, Payless in my favorite store..

So my expensive are less then 80 bucks a month..

I do my own work and dont work for nobody, All income is mine.

However, There is a non profit org around the area where I live at that I donate 200 bucks a month and offer free computer training and service.

I rarely pay any tax do to all the tax write off I get, Plus the state owes me some money.

the rest of the money are put into my kids saving account for them to have a bright future ..

I dont drink, So I dont go to parties. Clubs no bars..

I have a girlfriend that has a good as job, So no need to give her money..

I leave a good lifestyle to my standing .. and hope for the best for all .

Oh forgot to mention, That when I turn 40, I no longer will have to work and could retired, So 10 more years I be good

 

Anywhere in the world(except Western Nations) in $300-1000 you can have a pretty good life style. It need not be only in India.
With this money, you can be a king in Africa. In asia , its kind of 'OK'

 

It is a GOOD amount for a Indians but if you looking for good living standard than may be you cant survive in metro cities in future .
