Is there any successful affiliate without any website in which they can promote their affiliate link? I found a fact that there are successful affiliates without single website. If so, what you people do? Can I ask it?
If you don't want to have a website, you can use squidoo, hubpages, blogger, wordpress, usfreeads etc to get your affilitae links on. You can even build a list on some of these I believe. Having said that, to want to become a successful affiliate without a website is probably the worst initial decision you can make imo. If your going to put in the effort get traffic to where your affiliate links are, you will do better in the long run to be building the respect of your own domain at the same time (doing pretty much the same thing).
People new to affiliate marketing start with Article marketing, you may want to try it out, you can make quite a bit without having a website. You can also do something like PPC, Yahoo answers etc.
Yes, That is what I indirectly meant. If I give my affiliation link in adwords and if just 1 among those 2000 clickers of my ad, signs up for what I affiliate, I would get a good profit. It is a rough calculation I did. But I was wondering if that is the case, then anyone would do it isn't it? Whats so special that not everyone doing it? Or everyone does it and I am just following the big crowd?
people don't do it because it is better to have your own website. If you have a website and do ppc and natural seo techniques, you will build up a reader base, and get listed in google. You will be building up something tyhat you control, and at the end of it you'll have an asset as well as made profit.
People do do it except instead of going straight to the salespage, they might make it go to their site to presell the visitor
If you don't count a landing page as a website, then there are tons of affiliates with no website, and still making lots of money.
I'm not sure why someone wouldn't want one. If $15 bucks starting out is going to break you, than you probably have bigger issues to deal with.
Yes, it is possible to make money without a website, but eventually you will want to get one because it will be your own image and it is more professional. Plus those blogs and other ads you put up could get pulled at any time. Who knows. I know I had joined an article site and had about 100 articles submitted and all of the sudden they deleted my account. So, its much better to have your own website. Plus with hosting and domain name you can get one for like $50 per year. Thanks
Yep you can get a year of hosting and a domain at GoDaddy for around $50 so within a years time if you don't recoup and profit above $50 then you have a big problem and should check into how your doing things. I have seen numerous people try to do affiliate marketing without a website but not many succeed because google has really gone against squidoo etc being used for affiliate landing pages and word is Ezine articles is going to ban squido soon as well as free domain names to cut down on their spam.
I agree with you completely primeelite. I see the major article directories disallowing links to free hosts. I think it hurts their ranking with Google and it would reduce spam because it's just too easy for people to create them.
Yea, you can do it with wordpress/blogger/squidoo and all those other things, but you're only going to be scraping the bottom of things. Best to pick a market, buy a domain www.namecheap.com ($9/year) that sounds like a cool review spot and host it with www.hostgator.com ($5/month) Then all you have to do is "review" 3 similar products and place the reviews on the page with a "click here to read more" sort of link. (that's your affiliate link) Write a bunch of articles optimized for the product names/niche keywords and just drive traffic to that review site. www.ezinearticles.com It's actually very inexpensive and very easy to do this. But you will want to have a page of some sort. Sure you can get started without one... but why? Once you get your first check you'll want to buy an autoresponder and start to build your list. www.getresponse.com www.aweber.com As of now those are the only 2 I've ever used. Both are cool and will serve you well.
You understood me wrong. I actually have a bunch of domains and webspace is as cheap as possible these days. So setting up a website is never a problem. But its really and extremely hard to SEO my websites and get traffic to my website. So I thought I can just give my affiliation link to Google adwords and make money.
