Complain to the hosts who are hosting the files. If I'm not mistaken, people use services like rapidshare to upload illegal content.

Instead of complaining to each user's host, complain to Rapidshare, and they will remove it.

    Hi..

Yes...even you have encoded with ioncube or zend or any other PHP encoding tools, it's stil possible to be nulled ! You will have to constantly develope newer version from time to time & changing the encoding methods or whatever keys you use...

Should you also provide something extra like modules or extensions which only users who purchase from you will get login to your server to download these...at the same time matching the script with the domain name & email address they used to purchase through your server...

Looking from another way...this is a good sign of how useful of your script..If your script isn't that useful, there will be noone willing to take time nullify your scripts.. & also you can consider this is some free ads for you throught the Internet !

wait, wait, wait... did you buy the software from the official site?

Because it's not a "he" it's a "them". And if it is "them", then yeah, it is their fault, because their software is supposed to prevent that.

If it's a "he", then he probably isn't authorized to sell it, which you would've known, which means it's sort of your fault...

Yes I bought it from their official site. By "he" I mean Nick, the owner of Ioncube.

Apparently its not their fault their product is useless he says.

Zend Guard can be decoded, theres a free decoder going around that decodes it. The former best two encoders can be cracked. I am considering buying SourceGuardian 7.

I don't think I would worry about it. There will be some people who will use the hacked version, but most people that are going to pay will pay.

The other option is find a lawyer, track the guy down and try to prove he is distributing illegal copies of your script. But then again I'm sure that will cost thousands. It might cost more than your script is really worth?

SourceGuardian can not protect your script. It can be decoded, easier than ioncube.

Just like the people who steal ebooks and put them on warez sites. We've all had it happen. :(

I think its an empty thread. By the way i don't think someone using the null will actually want to pay for it anyways.

Scripts are always going to be nulled and posted on warez sites. Thats just how the internet works. One thing you can do is have some form of addons only accessible to people with a license. AKA the people who brought it. That way there is a need to buy it.

An example of this is on ww w.customcms.net/ People have nulled the script, but yet the seller sells heaps of copies. This is because he has game packs that are pretty much premade content and without them it would take ages to add anything to the site.

Well mate, everytime you see it on sites like warez-bb, report it too rapidshare, megaupload etc..
    They will delete it ;)
Normally they will reupload, but yeah the only way to prevent most of downloading is remove the scripts from the server...

And yes you can decode Ioncube... some Scene teams like WST have Ioncube decoders...
