I get this little window popping up saying Firfox has crashed, asking me to send a report to them it's starting to get annoying. Is this an universal issue? Or a vista issue? Or just mine being stupid? Anyone know? Cheers, TS
Hey TS, I am facing same problem though i am using FF version 2.0.0.16 Everytime getting same error as you. BTW i am also using VISTA. I think its happen in VISTA OS only as same FF i am using at my desktop where XP installed and never facing such problem there. DON.
First of all check if the error still occurs when you run Firefox in Safe Mode. Second, it could be a problem with your memory (and I mean RAM). Any new RAM installed? Or maybe removed? If not, it could be a sign that the RAM is starting to fail. Try removing the RAM sticks and cleaning them of dust. The RAM slots too.
I think reinstalling the Firefox would solve this problem, First freshly uninstall installed Firefox then Install again after restart
That means this problem is only with VISTA users There must be some solution available for this IMO. We need to find out that DON.
Same problem here.. I'm starting to get used to it. I hope they fix this error soon, before their latest upgrade I couldn't even use Firefox for 5 minutes without crashing.
Probably a bug, it's still beta, right? http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?locale=sk&forumId=1&comments_parentId=112368
I have, they havn't replied. I've reported it numerous times... I doubt it's my RAM. My whole PC is only about 6 months old, if the RAM is failing already then i'd be bloody surprised. It's not in beta, hasn't been for a good while now.
hmmm, seems to only be happening to some Vista users. Maybe it's something to do with what extentions you have downloaded? Maybe there is one thats buggering it up?
I had this happening on the last version of Firefox...but it went away when I installed the latest version (whatever number that is). I use it on XP and OSX
