    I also got free norton antivirus for 3 months with my intel motherboard. But soon I had to buy another antivirus.

    Kaspersky KIS is the best I've tried.

    Tried Norton before, eats my system alive.

    Never tried other smaller once, I prefer to trust the industry leaders.

    So people choose AVG cause it's free and lightwieght ? LOL, yeah, pretty good qualities of great antivirus.

    For people who using Kaspersky - there is 2009 version out. Antivirus as well as Internet Security suit.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

    I'm not overlly happy with AVG that's why I asked your opinion. There is something on my laptop -it's running slow and if I click on something there's a delay of a couple of seconds (enough to be annoying)

    I'm going to get a new laptop soon so don't want to pay for an anti virus software at the moment so i'm going to try Avast.

    You DP nerds rock. :)

    For me I'm use NOD32 to proven a bad virus.


    It's very work and OK.


    Recommend to try.
