Hello Everyone, I am launching a network of websites and I am hoping my most successful website will be this one, so I need to get it to look perfect. So here is a screenshot: http://www.imagewasp.com//uploads/747securinu.jpg What do you think? It will be selling software for £9.99/$17.99 and I want to get a website where when people visit they are persuaded to purchase. I am still going to add a buy it now button where the white box is, also add a testimonials section, and where the 'how its works' bow is will be screenshots. Any feedback? Thanks
It looks beautiful IMO. All I could suggest is that you fill up some of the blank space which I'm sure you were going to do anyway.
If that is your objective, it is not doing it for me. My first impression was what is this site for. I saw the huge "secure lock" and conflicting headings "GigaNu" and "SecuriNu" which confused me. It took me a while to notice the word "child safety", but still did not know what you were selling. Bottom line, you have not sold me. Sorry to be brutal, but I call it as I see it. I suggest looking at a few websites similar to your product and see if there are some design elements you can incorporate. Also look at other secure service software sites that are not necessarily geared for children. There are usually one or two items on the page that "pop" and tell you the story.
It looks nice, adding tons of content is always a good convincing method. I would have user reviews/testimonials (make them up if need be), statistics, feature listing and comparison with other top apps of this sort, screenshots, and a video. Adding a video to youtube can both show users how the program is and attract hits in itself.
Looks fantastic! I might swap the main links to this order: Web Log, Support, Purchase to boost sales. People usually want to know 1. What are the features? 2. How is the support? THEN they buy Other than that: best design I've seen all day. PS. Actually, the pink might be a little too suggestive given the industry you're targeting!
What is wrong with the pink colour? And this is a network of websites, not just this one. But I am hoping this one is the most succesful.
Okay. Now that you have a few recommendations in, when will the next 'screenshot' be shown? I have to agree on the previous post about the purple color. It looks bad, bordering on 'adult' if you know what I mean. If you want, I can give you brutal analysis of a live site with complete discretion. It is just that looking at an image without seeing any change is non-productive.
Nice and clean layout. But, it's much better if you change the button color to other color. It doesn't fit with the rest of your design. And another one, just use a plain white background for your site. It make me laugh to see a site selling software using that pattern background.
He was being facetious I think. That same article had two more things to say, but the poster omitted them. He stopped short of listing: But it is your website. Go with the purple on a dark background.
