Yeah that was one of the reasons why I created Balkhis because alot of people were sharing their stories of making XXXXXX and never sharing how they got there.
Well when people are buying advertisement one of the factors that they use is: Traffic of the site and the Pagerank (SERPs) As the demand of your ad spots goes up, you can increase the price. So what used to cost 20$ / month now can be $40 / month or even $200 / month. Which means more income for you. And when you are selling the site, income / traffic / PR all comes in play. So it is like a chain. Hope I explained myself better.
I've been spending most of my time reading on local and offline marketing as I now purchased my offline business. This was a great start for me on how to use a blog to generate some traffic. Thanks, -Bob
Even with selling products... The more popular you get and the more credible you get ... you are more likely to sell a product better than others. Why do you think Darren Rowse did so good on his problogger book? If you get alot of traffic, and exposure... then you can do very good. So selling a product is also a part of a chain... It is a chain and thats how my theory works.
