Wow, it's already official? Biden was one of the most qualified of all the Democratic candidates. It's good he'll be on the ticket.

Biden is a guy who likes to say what he thinks. Which is great if your an average joe but not when your a senator or vice president.

I am not sure why Obama would pick Biden. I knew there would quickly be ads up and running about how Biden has said that Obama is not qualified or ready to be president. Biden has also stated that he thinks McCain would be good for the nation.

Because Obama experience in foreign relations is weak, and the war in Georgia last week just reminds people that the world is a dangerous place and it really helps to have people with experience. Hence why he picked Biden. It just basically confirms what everyone has been saying about him.

At the start of the primaries I liked Biden for a number of reasons including his foreign policy experience.

He adds significant strength and experience to the Obama ticket, along with the perspective of the middle class rather than the wealthy elite.

    Strong choice IMHO.

It dosen't matter how much foreign policy 'experience' you have, you can have 200 years of experience like John Mccain and still be absolutley shit at it, which is the case with most US politicians
