I'm wondering how do video (youtube clones pretty much) websites get most of their traffic? I've seen a lot of them using "plugs" where they trade traffic with other websites. Is there any other way?
get their videos to go viral. THen people will start emailing and linking them around. have original videos. if you have a video that is posted all of youtube, 999 out 1000 the user is going to search for it on youtube if they want to find it or show it to someone else.
Upload popular television shows to it, put links up on Sidereel and similar sites. Try to find exclusive videos, and post links on other sites to it.
Best advice I have heard yet to get your youtube account deleted. And if you host the video on your own server, this is the best advice to get sued and spend the rest of your life in poverty paying fines. Oh yea, I "really" want to get sued in federal court, have all my computer systems seized by the FBI and spend every penny I make in lawyers fees and court fines. In case you dont read the news or watch TV, the people that own those shows takes that kind of stuff very serious. They have unlimited resources to sue you for every penny you and your grand kids will ever make. This is probably some of the worst advice I have ever seen.
He asked how tube websites get most of their traffic, and I told him. I wasn't telling him to do it himself, I was answering the question. Take your head out of your ass idiot. Have fun posting videos on youtube about fruit trees.
pensacola, how about having a website that has 100.000 supages in Google index? You think this way it is hard to get 10.000 u/v per day? That's how internet is working, if you haven't realized that yet. Take Amazon or Youtube for example. Every product you search, the first result is Amazon. Every song you search, the first result is Youtube.
