How much should I charge for every manual submission to link directories?

A lot of my subscribers asking me if I am offering link submission service and I wanted to try... Please suggest a very competitive price that favors me and the customer..

I think you should base pricing depending on how many directories you have to submit to. Then find the time it takes you to submit and price link submissions acordingly.

I would say from 10 to 15 cents, sure there are lot of people who pretend to make manual one for 5 cents or less based on info in BST, but I don't think they are telling the truth. I did such type of jobs and less I charged were 10 cents, usually more. I prefer to have less customers but charge little more. I also can consider making outstanding reports + screenshoots for that price to make real service. Not just spaming dirs.

Check out the Buy/Sell/Trade forums and get some ideas of some prices from them.

study the Prices in the BST section, then offer cheaper than them until you make successful business, then raise the price

Maybe you should be more creative by offering more attractive plan such as only pay for approved directory listing

10 cents if it's not on DP.

3-4 cents if it's on DP....DP is very competitive.

Just because someone charges low rates doesn't mean that the service quality will be poor.

DP is very competitive and essentially a buyer's market for most services.

Just a few days back, someone on DP did 1000 submissions for me at 1 cent per submission ($10 total). (He has increased his rates now).

He did a pretty good job and I personally checked a lot of directories.

Earlier, I used to offer directory submissions too.

However, the rates have gone so low that I no longer find it worth my time to offer services on DP. I prefer to work on my own sites now.

How about $10 for every 100 submissions, $20 for every 250 submissions and so forth. I would charge as a package deal. Are you manually submitting to directories or do you have a program to do it for you? That might help you gauge pricing as well. I just got 100 submissions for a site for free. I will ask his normal rates and try to get back to you.

Look at the BST forum here and see what others are charging. Based on that, if you can get better results or have a 'value add' charge more. Or if you're just trying to get established, charge less. It's all up to what the market will bear.

The buyer is the one who decide how many submissions he/she want... I have around 2k lists of active directories and of course, discount is always offered to bulk orders...

I am not offering the service yet, I just wanted to settle payment plans that's why I am asking...

I have done submissions to 4 customers already for $30 per 300 submissions but I wanted to have a more flexible options.
