Alt text in gallery pictures in Wordpress

    I like uploading a whole bunch of pictures for one post and then simply put [gallery] in my post to get all of my pictures in there. I was wondering what's the best way to put an alternative text behind these images, because now it just puts the Caption text under the thumbnail and it doesn't do much for the rest.

    NextGen doesnt work with certain themes if I'm not mistaken? It happened to me :(

    What themes?

    I use default themes and my own its ok :D
