I am from india and am seeking some information regarding how to get my paypal account verified. Please respond.
There are a lot of banks here. Am about to create an account for myself and get a debit card with the account. However, i cannot get a credit card as my account is not up to it. Can anyone please tell me which bank i should create an account so that the debit card of it might be accepted by paypal for verification (if debit card is accepted by paypal for verification). Please .. need some help fast... Someone posted saying that credit card is the only way for verification but someone else posted saying debit card of SBI and UTI is accepted by paypal. Am getting confused as to what to do. Please enlighten...
Two Options available in India for paypal verification : 1. Credit Card from any bank : Can't afford? : Go to ICICI bank - Make a fixed deposit of 10k INR and get a cc against it. Student Credit Card : Just apply to SBI for it (Too much hassle though , you need a PAN card for it). 2. Internationall Debit Card (Master Card Logo'ed) : SBI & UTI Bank Provides International Debit card have mastercard logo. To get expuse number : Go to branch manager after 2 days and ask for Offshore electronic international transiction statement. Take it and enter expuse number -- Verify yourself. I did it. So no worries.
Another option is if your parents,elder brother or sister having credit card witth them then you can apply for addon credit card based on their credit card. DON.
the cheapest solution to get a credit card is SBI.... first open a SBI account and deposit 2000 Rs. and then goto www.SBICard.com and apply for SBI credit card online.... SBI cards are useable in paypal as i myself use SBI card on my paypal... and the good part is SBI dont need to have lots of bank deposit....
Malik go and open account in SBI bank and the best part is you can also transfer money in SBI bank via paypal in 3 to 5 days .
You can verify your account only through Credit Card. If you add your local bank account then you can easily transfer your paypal account money to your local bank account. I have paypal account and transfer money to my local bank.
ICICI bank deposit for CC is no longer available option. Take an add-on card on your parents or siblings cards.
are u sure SBI student credit card will work because I am telling my friend to take that card to verify his paypal.
Check this out dude.. http://www.virtual-cc.com They give out Virtual CC to verify PP account for less than $10. I had the same issue that you are facing now. I bought one from them and now my PP is verified. But, they accept Libertyreserve only.. Worth having a look.. Cheers
