hi i was just wondering what laws concerning warez linking and stuff like that do singapore have at the moment....Also would it be safe to have warez forums there.Also if its a yes to having warez forums there what is the speed like from like a country like england
Honestly warez hosting/linking is not allowed by any country. Hosts take advantage of safe harbour law which clean chit the HOST on cirumstance like : Host not aware by the time of uploading files to his/her server. Most of the host says they allow Warez , takes the file down if they receive any complaint about any particular file on the server. Now there is another loop hole in the law. Only owner of the content getting pirated can initiate the complaint or legal actions. Maximum of the owner never gets aware about piracy of there contents
I am sure most Singapore datacenter wouldn't allow warez linking and stuff since the law are as strict as ever. Can't really comment on the speed but as far as I know, it is not that bad from London.
I am from Singapore an I could tell you that laws here are strict. warez are not allowed Would you be needing hosting services or your own dedicated servers. please let us know as we always have something install for you.
From Singapore too One of the Asian countries that do not allow any form of warez (hosting and/or linking) on their servers. Try countries like The Netherlands, Hong Kong, Sweden, Malaysia. It's not that they allow warez hosting/linking per se, but they don't expressively forbid it
You can operate your forum by hosting your site at offshore hosting so there no legal issue against you
If you would like to host warez, try Chinese hosting. But ofcoz, if the software owner complain to the hosting provider, they maybe close your account too. By the way Chinese hosting don't allow any porn content.
