I still like them both. I guess I've been successfully brainwashed by both sides.

Spoken like a true victim of Ron Paul!

I'd say you were an expert on that ;)

Ah, so it's not quite as "popular" yet? Heh! Some let "popularity" drive their opinions! Oh to be so blissful :D

Have you seen this one yet?

Uh oh, how about this one? Could be a Ron Paul supporter

LMAO! Heh, the alex jones candidate never had any business running. The white supremacists, troofers and anti-semites sure liked him though. Can't imagine why (birds of a feather...) ;)

I love how people splice together nonsense propaganda and put it on youtube and quote it as a source.

I can say one thing about the cross country concert tour by Obama. It was something to remember. I stood in a thunderstorm to protect Obama and he did thank me , and Obama bought me a chick filet sandwich with no pickle, bag of chips and a bottle of water. He spoke for about an hour and said nothing, Hope, Change, Hope, Change. He got a standing ovation at each pause. The crowd and the applause were genuine, nothing staged and the people loved him even though he said nothing. I saw the great tour, the crowd, spent time with Obama and left awestruck with the impression he left on me. I knew when he left SC that he would steamroll over Clinton and the others. I thought McCain stood for more than Obama but I thought the Obama wave would crush McCain and the Polls by the election would be a run away. The polls shifting towards McCain come to me as a surprise. I did not think the election would be close but by the polls shifting the election is far from over.

polls really mean nothing. Even if they say that one will win by a landslide, I wouldn't believe it even if it was in favor of the candidate that I am in favor of. I think we're going to see another tight race for no other reason than that the Democrats will not put up anyone who is closer to moderate on some of the conservative issues. I have no doubt in my mind that if the Democrats would put someone forward that might draw attention to the evangelicals, that they would win in a landslide. Unfortunately they continue to push for closer elections and continue to lose. :(

OK. What is the point of the anti-McCain video? Is he supposed to be guilty because his wife is wealthy? How come that wasn't an issue for the DemoRats when John Kerry was running for president? Neither of these guys made their money on their own. They both married wealthy women.

I have a real estate license in McCain's home state of Arizona. Yeah, lenders got too loose by giving out loans to people who could not afford them when the interest rates got higher. Congress had a lot to do with that because they passed legislation that required lenders to give out more high-risk loans in low income neighborhoods.

Foreclosures have not been an issue with standard mortgages. The issue is with ARMs. How does a person sign up for an "adjustable rate mortgage" and not understand that the rate is adjustable? It is also made very clear to a prospective homeowner that their rates WILL go up.

There is another part of this that does not get talked about. Almost 50% of the homes sold in the Phoenix area -- and other parts of the country -- in 2005 at the peak of the market were sold to investors and speculators. They were doing 5% money down deals. When the market crashed, they started walking away from the investments, because they didn't have much invested. That is a large percentage of the foreclosures in the Phoenix area and other areas of the USA. The numbers do not reflect poor home owners who got screwed; they reflect people who made bad decisions.

McCain makes a good point. Are we supposed to feel sorry for and subsidize people because they made bad decisions? That is done primarily at the expense of people who have not made bad decisions.

What about the mansion that BO (or as the Marines refer to him, Obama bin Laden) recently bought? Is his wealth not an issue? Oh, that's right. He will probably find someone productive to take the money from so that he can support all of the people who make bad decisions.

The shift to McCain is probably because of the Russia/Georgia situation. It might shift back after Obama announces Biden as his running mate tomorrow(still somewhat speculative, but will be a shock if it isn't).

And I don't really think all the hope, change(ok, maybe this one is) and "bridging divides" talk is just fluff. Obama is the type of guy who can and wants to bring people together, and there hasn't been many(if any) times in history when we were more divided and when partisan politics were more nasty. McCain is also that type of guy, he's just not nearly as good at articulating it.

Whew! Yeah...thank goodness the citizens have come to their senses!! I mean with the economy the worst it's been in my lifetime, a war that was waged to "disarm" Iraq (i mean, let's just say it...Iraq was on the verge of nuking us all), stock market at record lows, foreclosures at an all time high, an idiot in office who's only prior experience was governor of Texas(Jesse the Body Ventura for Pres!!), and a Presidential approval record that's as low as Nixon's when he was impeached. Yeah, thank goodness we have the sense to vote for someone like McSame to take the reigns and continue on with the kind of positive leadership and spot on decision making we've enjoyed for the last 8 years. Boy, I sure hope McCain pulls it out!!

The problem is that BO has no history of bringing people together. That is ALL fluff. He stepped into the limelight with a blistering attack on Republicans at the Democratic National Convention. He does not have a reputation for strong negotiating skills. If he thinks he can solve the world's problems through diplomacy, I'd like to point out that history is littered with failed politicians who wrongly believed that you can appease tyrants through diplomacy.

I also suspect that if he gets a chance to initiate some of his radical socialist ideals, all that working people will have left is change--change in their pockets. He cannot pay for his programs by stealing the money he needs from wealthy Americans and American companies. These people do not keep money in the bank. They invest it in jobs and companies, which keeps the economy moving. The worst place to put any money is in government, where is is guaranteed to get pissed away.

There are other issues about BO that have not yet hit the public. I suspect they are being held back for an 11th hour attack just before the election.

I keep saying that I am not a fan of McCain and I do not plan to vote in this election, but the more I learn about BO, the more I understand how weak, inexperienced and naive he really is. At least McCain is honest about his weaknesses and is much more of a legitimate moderate. A lot of liberals that I talk to plan to vote for McCain, primarily because they see BO as a phony.
