My average ctr from forums is 1.2% which is quite low I know, but on the other side, I have a lot of traffic with up to 1200 uniques a day. My SE trafic in forum is above 48%.

quick hint: show ads only to your guests, because most of them are your uniques. your regular forum members becomes ad-blinded. this improves your ctr. since adsense is mostly ppc its better to show ads to guests only, because if it was cpm then you need to show to members too.

believe it or not i never paid anything about seo or any books/offers that are offered here on dp or anywhere else.

somehow i dont trust the "get rich quick" "get tons of free traffic" schemes that are sold here with many offers.

its all done with a lot of hardwork and deication. focus on something you know well and post about that.

Its not a good way for someones like an engineer or law guy to make websites about "lose weight" "hair loss treatment" "best credit cards" etc.. If you dont know the topic/niches dont start it, because sooner or later your members will see that you are not profesionnal and they will get away.
