I'm American and I wouldn't want to be anything else, ever. We've got more opportunities here than just about any other country, and I honestly don't understand why people piss and moan and how bad the USA is...yet stay here. If you don't like it, get out.

I think it doesn't really matter unless we are happy. An asian guy might wish to be born a U.S, a U.S guy might wish to be born an indian, an indian might wish to be born an asian.

I am happy with what I'm but right now, I wish I would go somewhere very far away from home.I'm just so bored !!

Apparently Australia is now the fattest nation in the world. I don't see too many fat people around though. Then again, I'm not at a fast food restaurant too often :D

How come those boring dudes, who always say "every country is beautiful :) good people everywhere :)" to these these threads, haven't showed up yet? :p

Anyways as for the thread.. I think the OP made a big mistake assuming whoever isn't American would like to be American, not that anything wrong with Americans, it's just i don't see anything tempting about it. I'd like to be a dude in Scandanavia, even tho it's cold, the girls are pretty hot and that's enough :p

Maybe you should find some chance to go travel abroad a bit to learn other countries' culture.

I'm not american and I'm satisfied with living in my country
I've been to few countries and if I could choose I would like to live and stay in England again.

America is just a hub for money management for those who are international capitalists, all country and technology is not helping poor people ... even in USA.

I would agree with you. Technology helps only those people those who can afford it.

Then I feel truly sorry for you.

Everyone has this misconception about England and think it is a great place to live when in fact, it's totally the opposite.

Draw back the curtains and take a look behind the "Quaint English Villages" and our "Accents" and you'll see a country in total turmoil.

The education system is one of the poorest in the western world, the health service is on it's knees and the financial economy is pretty much dead.

Everything in the UK is stupidly expensive. Property prices are fucking ridiculous for what they are.

Then take a look at the youth culture and how the UK has become.

Once England was great, but not any more. If anything, it's a slowly dying "has been" country.

I for one can't stand the place and will only live two places in this world, the US or Italy.

I am American and although we do have our issues, I love living here, but if I couldn't be here I would love to live somewhere in Europe. I've never been there, so I can't say exactly where, but somewhere, probably near the Mediterranean.

I'm an American and love it here, it is inconceivable to even think of living elsewhere.

They promised to take the chain off for a few minutes if I answered the question "correctly".
