HI I was at the fedex and ups website trying to get the rate for shipping a 1Lb 7x5x5 size package to zipcode 99803, AK. The rate for ground shipping turns out to be: UPS: $33.24, Fedex Home Delivery: $23.57. Did I do something wrong? I meant the price is way too much. Anyone has any recommendation on how to find a correct rate? Thank you
Shipping to Alaska is expensive. I would go with FedEx. A colleague of mine who has a storage facility with shipping services reports that his customer complaint ratio is 10 UPS complaints for every 1 Fed Ex complaint.
Thanks for the reply, but is the rate i got from their site is correct? Is there a way to find an accurate rate?
What's wrong with USPS? They're usually the cheapest and good for everything except really expensive or big packages.
There's nothing wrong with USPS. The problem is that my client wants to offer 3 different shipping carrier for buyers to choose so i have to find prices from each different carrier.
