Likewise, if you don't like reading my comments you can simply put me on ignore. While I don't like your comments, I do feel like replying so others don't think you speak for more than just yourself. I liken many of your posts to someone pissing in the pool.
Reminds me of some newsletters exposed earlier this year. Apparently some have "selective" outrage. Perhaps some outrage is more popular than others. Angry White Man Maybe it's that kooky presidential loonies are not held to the same standards as school principles. We don't need principles like this and we don't need presidential nutjobs like this either. Nah, he should just go work for Ron Paul. They seem to have a lot in common.
Agreed! If you don't like blacks, jews or gays, Ron Paul (by his own words) is the candidate of choice. Don't take my word for it though, just ask David Duke
lol nice try - coming from someone with the "Lohan Jiggle" and an animated gif of Scarlett Johansson's titties in their sig. Now that's comedy.
Do you find the female form offensive? I did find your sexual innuendo on a thread about outing a lesbian girl in poor taste. I guess expecting you to understand the difference was my mistake.
Not if they had reason to fire him, plus I'd rather an ass hat like that sue them than a student they let fall through the cracks by said ass hat, how about you?
It's amazing that someone with such cretinous and bigoted views could even make it to the position of principle.
While I could care less who is gay, straight or otherwise... BOOHOO... I remember my shop teacher in high school making me take off my Ozzy shirt in class and making me turn it inside out. There are a lot of things that just do not seem right at the time in high school. That's life. A public high school is a place of learning, not a place to outwardly express your sexuality. I have to side with the principles judgment here, assuming his intentions were geared more towards keeping the majority happy, and the distractions brought on by something so stupid at a minimum. High school is a cruel place. So too are the kids. Everyone gets made fun of for something at some time. IMO, if she could not handle the hazing and bullying in high school, she's never gonna make it in the real world where it is much more cruel than high school. Like it or not, the school board, and the principle have every right to dictate policy whether it is PC or not. Its a high school. The students have no rights IMO until they are adults. Where I really fault the principle is for not also expelling the ignorant bigots that were attacking this poor girl. He really needs to be consistent by impressing upon the class body as a whole that not only will pimping sexual orientation around school not be accepted, but that being hateful to others is just as unacceptable. In the end, the guy is doing his job. Personal opinions aside, his job dictates that he enforce the majorities influence, and policy - which in this case appears to be a fear of homosexuality. That being said, the best I can offer as a solution if in this situation would be a map of the US. Move.
Yeah telling her to 'stay away from children' was really doing his job. The guy was a bigot through and through, nothing to do with doing his job, nor is the comparison of an Ozzy shirt even remotely similar. The guy did not like her because she was gay, pretty simple and straight to the case.
Schools do not follow the rights given to us by the state. Ozzy shirts, gay pride and protesting can all be reasons to suspend. The man is not in charge now. The school is moving on.
Schools do not follow 'majority rules' either Schools must follow the laws, and that does include rights given by the state. 'the school is moving on' yep that is reason to just let an injustice such as this stand 'or not to talk about it', all the while a child was treated severely incorrectly by a bigoted principal. --- Sure looks to be going above and beyond simply what they wore.
