My Analytics showing Bounce Rate. I still don't quite understand how they come out with the figures. Anyone can explain it for me?

High bounce rate indicates that landing pages aren't relevant to your visitors. You can minimize it by tailoring landing pages to each keyword and ad that you run. The landing page should provide the information that were promised in the ad copy.

bounce happen when a user come to you website, and then find it useless and then leave your site from the same page.

if it is less then 40% i will say its normal. if it is higher you will need some serious work out on it.

have you ever think about when you goes to a website, and if they did not guide you properly where to do, where to find, where to get what you need, what you will do, JUST Leave .

Think of your website user, get them busy with you site, tell them properly what they are looking, and where they can find it. use some good theme, that is understandable to every one easily.

Sometimes it may not necessarily means that the site is useless. Interpret it the other round. If I am a visitor who finds that the landing page provided exactly the answer with what I'm looking for, then I'll still close it anyway without visiting other pages. So in this scenario, it doesn't mean that the site is useless. I hope you get what I mean.

As I said, it can carry different interpretation.

Stop using GA, use w3counter.com for more accurate and up-to-date result... GA lost all impressions before they post their day result.. :(
