    Use this:

For wordpress, open up your templates header.php and add that code inside the <head> section.

This way is allowed because it preserves the back button functionality, not having this is against Adsense TOS.

I have set up numerous wordpress.org self hosted blogs. I would suggest you just focus on unique content and backlinks. That is better than trying to get traffic from people looking for a particular image. After all, they are just looking for an image. The conversion ratio would be a wast of your time.

We are not all code geeks. No offence Sweetfunny, but this will not really help the OP.

If I am wrong I will stand corrected.

    Why not?

It will display his actual page to Google image traffic and not just the image, which is exactly what he asked for.

Don't get me wrong, I fully understand that the header adjustment you suggested is a great solution. Its a little technical for someone who doesn't know how to impliment a javascript redirect.

It's opening header.php in Notepad then copying & pasting the code i gave inside the <head> section.

If you need instructions for Notepad, or how to copy & paste i'd suggest selling your site, computer and doing something else.

It's slightly harder in Wordpress' case as you have to know where the header and theme files are located /wp-content/themes/theme-name/header.php or whatever.

How are you getting such good traffic from Google images? I ask this because I've seen some of mine come from that source, but I wasn't sure how. I'm sure it's because of the image tags/keywords...right?

I get 15,000 per day from image search.

It's from having 100 decent resolution images (800x600), with good backlinks to the site itself. Sure there's some on-page image optimization but the image resolutions and domain backlinks is what I think makes the difference.

Excellent, the code is also Adsense compliant (i confirmed this with Adsense myself) because it preserves back button functionality and you aren't 'trapping' users on your page and raising your chances of getting clicks.

You should see an improvement, i notice a percentage who come from images actually stay and browse around the site considering they get to see it now instead of just the image.

    Not porn.

It's Naruto, an Anime TV show. Any topic can work, cars for example or celebrities, as long as you SEO it well.
