I made a real estate site, and it took well over 1 year to get ranking, due to the "sandbox", or whatever you want to call it (ranking delay). I think you can expect the same. Google does this with all new high-competition niches, to slow down all the spammers, MFAs and fly-by-nights. I would expect a ranking delay for any of the highest-paying, highest competition niches, such as real estate, insurance, loans, structured settlements, etc.
Real estate is one of the most competitive niches out there. You're gonna need lots of GOOD content, and PR links, but I wouldn't expect any real revenue for at least 6 months, but probably more like 12 months like surf dude said above.
salihpk, I have a real estate site (fairly new) and I added adsense to it over a month ago and my first pay date is already coming soon and already have earned over $200.00 (I just started with adsense over a month ago all togehter) Hope this helps. Ms. Pearl
Yeah. It is quite natural that any high paying niche is bound attract competition and real estate is no exception. Try to target less competitive keywords in the real estate niche to begin with and once you grow with contents and age go for the jugular! (highly competitive one!!)
yes, it's a very good paying niche and a very competitive one. So far I've made a little over $200 from 500 clicks. I have gotten a couple of clicks over $1.
Great help mate! But I am from India, how can I get the idea of sub-niche in US real estate ? Any help ?
My niche is US Real Estate. But have little knowledge about it.From where I can get more knowledge on it ?
The one on my signature is a real estate website focused on google.com.au, I can't make the keyword real estate stay at first page as of now but so far I'm able to make it on top 3 in the previous months then gone to second page suddenly.
