Kaspersky is the best, not expensive if it saves you time and money fixing your computer!

I'm using AVG. Why are you saying that AVG had turned out bad? I'm happy with this software.

Norton is useless and I have been using AVG. Earlier I was using Kaspersky but when I updated my windows there was a weird repair error. So I shifted to AVG. AVG is free and is as good as kaspersky.

I used Kapersky for free. Just activate trial. After 29 days stop kaspersky services and delete the registries of kaspersky and then delete the present key and then reactivate.

I have been using AVG for the last three weeks and I noticed that my computer is slowing down during boot-up.

Do you think AVG is bulky that is causing slow start-up?

No matter what..... ESET NOD32 is still the best..
Get 2 anti-viruses, like Nod32 and Kaspersky or maybe Sophos, but sophos isn't great.

Gay antiviruses: (can't really detect new viruses and worms until like... 3 months after Nod32 and Sophos picks the up
    Mcafee
    avg
    avast
    norton

As well get some firewall and something that can prevent edits to registry like search spy bot something.
