McCain takes lead over Obama: poll

" In a sharp turnaround, Republican John McCain has opened a 5-point lead on Democrat Barack Obama in the U.S. presidential race and is seen as a stronger manager of the economy, according to a Reuters/Zogby poll released on Wednesday.

McCain leads Obama among likely U.S. voters by 46 percent to 41 percent, wiping out Obama's solid 7-point advantage in July and taking his first lead in the monthly Reuters/Zogby poll."

I don't live in your country, but I'd be afraid if Obama was to win. He's in it for all the wrong reasons. i don't think McCain is the best thing since sliced bread, but Obama??? Give me a break. He's so full of shit it hurts.

Nothing mixed up, my friend. Obama is not running to help the country, he's running to be the first black dude. He's so excited about it, he doesn't give a dump about what's gonna happen next. Every shit he let's out of his mouth is so full of crap only retard can fall for it.

Most Obama supporters do not even know what the guy stands for which is sad.
McCain is far from a good candidate but he is the best candidate that has a chance. I would take him over Obama any day.

McCain seems to just talk less, which would be the best thing for his campaign. Let obama talk himself silly and it will show who he is more.

We all know McCain will win since the illuminati lizard-men aliens have chosen him long ago. They removed McCain's brain back when the U.S. thought he was being held captive in Vietnam.

That was kind of funny, but I have to ask - What does obama stand for? He called and wanted to know.

Thanks for clearing that one up. I suspected the only reason Obama was running was to be the "first black dude," but was too "retard" at the time to figure it out.

To the thread topic, the two have been in an essentially dead heat for months, and I expect cyclical reversals through November. Personally, don't find any real news here.

Some people reveal much more about themselves when they try to insult others.

Obama... is digging... himself... into a hole. For someone... who... started out as... a... smooth... talker, he can't seem... to put... more than three... words together, unless... he has a... teleprompter.

I think people are just getting tired of hearing Obama talking in fragments and not saying anything of any substance. That, and the fact that people are starting to realize that he has no accomplishments or experience, are starting to sink in. Obama also recently stated that he is a Progressive, which translates to "extreme left-wing socialist with lots of hopelessly unworkable ideas". The only Americans who want that are other Progressives.

I'm not a fan of either of these guys, but at least McCain is showing some leadership skills.

This has been the longest election. I'm almost indifferent at this point.

I think McCain stands a good chance if he continues to take a stand for conservative moral values. He does need to do a better job of seperating himself from some of Bush's policies though.

I believe so as well. Certainly wasn't my preferred candidate, however, with him getting a little media exposure over the last six months (compared to the non-stop love affair the MSM extols on "the Messiah"), I've learned quite a bit about him that I didn't know before. In the "substance" category, McCain beats "the Messiah" hands down.

Is this the kind of news McInsane is getting these days?
    http://features.csmonitor.com/politics/2008/08/21/mccain-obama-and-how-many-homes/
    http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2008/08/kaine-on-mccain.html

Quote from someone posting on a blog:
"And Obama made that money on his own, by becoming successful in politics and writing good books that sold well. Before 2004, he had never earned a tenth of that and was renting a home.

McCain made his $100 million by having an affair with a 25-year-old multimillionaire when he was 42 and married, then divorcing his wife to marry the girl."
