I have to agree with you.
I'm still promoting this niche, I find it good that there isn't that much competition. I made 3 sales yesterday for this niche, so all is good, I'm gonna continue promoting it

    Hi,

I'm only a small player (about $1300 of "water fuel products" sales in the last two months), but I'm basing my opinion on recent performance:

    Last 10 days: 180 hops - 0 sales.
    Last 18 days: 423 hops - 5 sales (1 in 84).

So I'm still getting hops - but no sales :(

That's why I personally am wondering what's up!

    Cheers,
    Zander

hey Zander, the reason that's happened is because you're not targeting the best of keywords.

If you want to make more sales, you'll need to experiment with other keywords and see what happens. The reason I say this is because I know some people promoting this are making a killing because they've found good keywords and are targeting lots of them to get max traffic and hence, max sales.

    I don't agree

My sales dropped to ZERO, maybe I had a product in place along with eBooks

But my other websites are also not reporting any sales in Aug for any of water 2 gas products.

But I did sell a number of real products.

I wonder how many people who buy the plans actually ever use the plans. It has to be like 5% or less. The actual product might be appealing to a lot of people who aren't handy enough to wire up some mason jars with out getting burned. :D

Whats the refund %? Its probably the exact same % as the # of people that actually try to make it work, then realize its a scam and ask for a refund.. hah

on SWCS, the refund rate is currently 4.5%

Not that bad compared to the avg. of 15-20% RR I had promoting centemax

Good Lord, a double digit Refund Rate is certainly a red flag. The commission on the main product (non-energy) I promote is a little under $20, but the refund rate is 1%, so the sales stick at least.

15-20% Refund for centemax is way off!

I'm promoting centemax, I have made a lot of sales, been promoting in for past 3-4 months,
I haven't seen a single refund in maybe more than a month, I don't know what's the deal, maybe they're making it hard for the customers to get a refund, who knows, I've seen people purchase the product twice by mistake and still not refund it. In the last 40-50 sales of Centemax I've made there wasn't a single refund which I'm really suprised about. So refund rate for me is very low (hope I don't jinx it)

Yeah 15-20% refunds for centemax is way way off. I've sold a few hundred copies as an affiliate, and have only noticed a few refunds along the way.

I suspect Alexg is using some creative licence when it comes to these figures, in order to promote his site.

well when I use to promote centemax, that was just what happened.

when I switched to water4gas, refunds went down massively because it was actually a good product.

Anybody else have a high refund rate? I wonder if it has to do with your presell?

All the water gas products have taken another hit this week. Is the end nigh?

Water4gas and centemax are probably gonna settle at a stable 150-200 gravity, they're not gonna fall to 0

If you're concerned about the refund rate of the current 'HHO' ebooks you're promoting (and why wouldn't you be?), you may want to try promoting Super Water Car Secret instead. As of just now, we have a refund rate of 4.69%

If you're already making sales for this niche, simply change the product you're currently promoting to super water car secret and you should start to earn more money with barely any extra effort.

Higher sales page conversion rate + lower refund rate = more $$$ for you

I think it is product cycle. It was a crazy hot product, but now it is cooling off. I've seen a decline in my sales as well.

I have seen a few local news stations warning people of these harmful products.
