I ordered mightyb's service here. The thread is now closed, because all slots have been filled. So I decided to start this new thread to be able to review mightyb's service. His method is supposed to show results in 4 months, but I'll try to update this thread every month or so. I took a chance because the service is 250$, which is not expensive if it produces results, but expensive if it's a scam. But mightyb reputation is really good so I took the chance! ------------------------------- A little bit more about my site: ------------------------------- It is pretty much new, it has been online since april 27, 2008. There are not a lot of content yet, it's a blog like site where any user can submit posts and comments. Content should be submitted by users, not by me. The niche is spirituality/religion. It currently shows no PageRank, using the Google toolbar. Google shows 23 pages indexed. Google shows no backlinks. Yahoo shows 31 pages indexed Yahoo shows 121 Inlinks Most of the current backlinks are: 2 site wide good links from 2 other of my sites (PR4 and PR5) blog comments 1 article submitted to +/- 10 articles sites. some regular directories yahoo directory AwStats shows 455 unique visitors for June 2008 AwStats shows 68 Search Keyphrases for June 2008 On google.com, my site ranks 74 from: "my main keywords" On google.com, my site ranks 17 from: my main keywords (which is already not bad! ) ------------------------------- Here is a copy of the original thread, by mightyb: ------------------------------- If you have any question, just ask. With the recent PageRank update, my site is now PR4.. But this is due to the work done before this seo service. mightyb started to work on the site.. He does it slow so that "everything looks natural" and this is perfect for me! First month step My keywords positions are better than they were one month ago (In Google) but I think this is still because of the work done before mightyb's service, since no new backlinks are visible in yahoo (except for links on one site). Before this service, I used an article creation and posting service and it took a little while before the articles were accepted and published. But now I'm pretty sure they are all online so I don't think my keywords will get a better SERP because of them. And I'm not promoting this site by myself anymore to be able to really test mightyb's service. So if next month my keywords positions improve, I'm pretty sure this will be because of mightyb's service. I sent a message to mightyb 2 days ago and didn't get any reply. Also, on his profile, you can see his last activity is :Aug 11th 2008 3:49 pm I have to agree with Terry, this doesn't sound good. Another highly reputated/iTrader member turning into a scammer? By the way, mightyb is aware of this thread. He should have posted a message or two in my opinion.
I am in the same boat. I had paid him the $250.00 and have had zero improvement from his side. Will keep an eye on this thread.
I only got ONE new link. mightyb replied me this, on Jul 27th: This link doesn't seem to make much difference in my ranking yet.
The Symantec engineers who was suppose to get authority backlinks from 4 domains has been moved to Japan to work on another project. If he is unable to regain access to these pages before the end of September you will get a complete refund as promised. I'm very sorry for this delay and inconvenience.
Indeed, any news mightyb? It would be nice from you to keep us informed every week since we're not even sure we'll see our 250$, or any result at all, anymore.
