The subject is of course wishful thinking. We need to overcome the M&M combo big time. :)

Who's going to figure out Mendis?

i'd love to see him against Australia or England - Australia to see how tackle him and england - to see how they fold against him :D

Hurry! India Won the match by 3 wickets now. For me Badrinath is looking good on such worst pitch and India should give some chance to him. Better to promote him at no. 3.

yes i like badrinath's game... lets see does he make it consistent? really pitch was very worst... i remember a NZ series where all matches were same as low scoring and there was only one batsman make consistent good score.. do you know who was he... Viru.. i never forget that series

This pitch is located at a lake, so this is not good for cricket.

Yes and if Sri Lanka put 170+ runs today then we might have different results.

Ya. But we should think that sehwag and gambhir who played very well in test matches are not playing. Today's performance is not very bad thinking about pitch too.

Well you are right! Only two batsmen did good batting in last 2 months in any series and it's our bad luck that both are out now due to injury problems.

the indian cricket has one of the best batting line up in world but only on papers. whether it is sachin dravid or dada. all of them have lots of records in their book and are the leading run getters in ODIS and in TESTS their games but now they all have played their games.now its upto the BCCI to give new comers a chance, not one or two match but atleast 5 tests and a minimum of 15 odis...as it takes time to mark a good impression in cricketing world. its quiet difficult for a debutant to start scoring humangous runs in his early matches. we have to trust on them and give them enough time to prove their worth as it takes time for a new comer to establish himself as a godd player. so relating it to present scenario...the present indian cricket team needs a great amount of modification. all the senior players who are above 30 and have been given a lot of chance but still are not performing in srilanka upto their mark. they should be replaced by new players. who have a lot of talent but lacks exprience which they will gain only when they are given more and more chance to play more and more ODIS and TESTS. thats the reason why AUSSIES are still the number one team in the world.....

You are right! We have best batting line up but we hardly see them in action. One day one player makes some runs and other players not. We need performance like Team Australia.

Good points, problem here is politics, there are still many good players who are not getting chance to play at domestic level.Australia has good domestic level platform, this is why u see many of Australian players making debut later in their age and play longer.

batting line may be best in the world, but they are not performing together to win a match.
