Wow I hate people like this

Someone clicked my ads like 20 times on purpose to try to get my account suspended.

I should let google know immediately, yes? Or should I wait and see if they take action?

If 20 clicks worth $x dollars not $0.XX, you should let google know.

Do you know who did it? I had this happen with Amazon when I was making a lot of money and supporting employees. Someone (I never found out who) stole some HTML/JS code of mine and ran it in their pop-ups with my affiliate ID. They suspended me and refused to look into it. I was tempted to do the same to our competition's site. But I'm sorry to say, I'm too nice a guy.

For the sake of protecting your account, you should contact google immediately. Why wait?

From what I understand is that Google has software which detects invalid clicks. So if someone is clicking a lot, Google's algorithm will simply ignore some (high) percentage of the clicks. As long as you are not violating your agreement with Google--by, say, clicking your own ads--you don't need to worry about it.

This happens all the time and its really impossible for you to track it when you have a lot of clicks. Google will sort it out on their own, you don't need to do anything.

it's actually a flatter to have this sometimes, goes to show you are frustrating the competition. In my account I have recorded around a dozen incident of click bombing to get me fried with Adsense, but since I am one of those fortunate to recieve invitation by email back in 2004 (although I thought adsense was a scam back then and placed it in a personal blog and not started making serious money till 2006) My good standing with Google has always got me a swift response from them everytime I send them the logs and possible IP adressess of the culprit.

to the funniest level I got one adsense channel showing 3 impressions, 499 clicks and earning only $0.14.
Man that guy sure is very angry and very jealous of my site! the lower impressions has got me easily picking out his IP address and giving it to Google. sadly enough it's a fellow country man doing the wrong deed.

Makes you wonder if is it just your close friends, office mates or buddies out there who knew about your adsense and gets envy with it, but that is just my case.

Goodluck with your report. Oh one more thing, adsense guys thoroughly checks your account too for fraud each time you report to them, they always respond to me with warnings and recommendations to some of my sites not meeting their guidelines, so better clean house if you're doing anything fishy yourself

On time a friend and I got into a stupid spat. He went to my website and clicked my google adsense ads like 100+ times.

I know it was him, it hasn't happened since.

    Things I learned:

    1. don't tell your friends about your sites.

    2. Google takes care of this on their own.

    100+ clicks =$0.00

You can report this stuff if you want but Google understands how your competition or just some idiot can try to sabotage you.

I have had my competition take me completely out in the past with other affiliate programs. Even got me nailed for spamming by posting a misguiding link that pointed to one of my affiliate programs.

I lost a 15K a year website over the whole thing. I eventually got my site back up but what a loss! It never recovered either, I still own the site but it's a shell of what it used to be.

    Competition can be ruthless
