Lately we have seen many spam at BST forum, just wondering if you guys agree that dp will charge a yearly membership fee or Per Post fee at BST. I guess this will help to eliminate some spam post.

Just a question please don't get me wrong...

I would be happy if DP charges at least some small amount of fee for posting in BST section. To some extent, spam will be reduced. But people who want to scam others, will still pay the fee and come to spam.

I think charges should be applied for not posting in BST but for creating a new thread.

It had been discussed before, and the answer was No, according to the forum moderators. But if you are asking as a poll my answer will also be a "No".

    HELL NO

This is the best place with the best deals for a reason and has start up websites for a reason $0 to post. Also you get many other opportunities for websites here and peopple don't like to pay this is WEAK IDEA!. I have only ever posted [WTB] in sites and I would never pay for that and be angry to overall bad idea.

I think better moderation is the answer... no offense to the mods, I know they work hard and do well but I think there needs to be a strict set of guidelines in regards to spam and have it heavily enforced... my $0.02

I would also like to see an established sites sub category...

Maybe because DP is getting bigger and bigger with more offers. More sub forums and categories could be added.

Maybe there could be a paid section where only reputable members can subscribe to or something like that?

Maybe just make even more rules on adding threads.

I don't like it, I never would've got my start if I couldn't sell my templates or services without paying first. You'd really be setting people up to fail with that system.

If this happens, I would leave DP - I respond to posts in the freebies section :) and for someone like me (still in school) won't pay

I agree totally. I find that as soon as a script gets placed on the warez forums such as an image host script then DP get tons of image hosting sites for sale!

I think DP should go the extra and sorts stuff like this out. They will give you strikes for answering posts with a one liner and accuse you of bumping etc while the scammers are having a ball and get away with all kinds of stuff.

In my opinion DP should lay down some strict posting rules in the 'sites for sale' section.

*No posts without the site url openly shown
    *No pm me for details
*Mandatory details should be posted such as....
    Monthly NET profits
    Monthly outgoings
    Monthly uniques
    Age of site clearly shown
How long poster has owned the site
No deals done via PM (offer of xxx by pm)

In my opinion DP is a great facility but are in danger of allowing this section to turn into a mess and I think maybe they could take some steps to improve things. I also think that there should be a better method of verifying the profits shown, I mean anyone can literally say anything, even google figures dont necessarily show true if the seller does not use channels

    My lot thrown in!!

I actually use SP a lot - I think you missed the point of the original question TheVccMatey. That is what we are responding to, not other places we can go.
