They are great accomplishments, but in a time like this it's almost impossible to get balanced coverage, especially when they all come from the same sport. If this was 2004 or maybe even 2012 it would be a different story. It's like when the Chicago Bull's were winning all their championships. Scottie Pippin would score 20, and Michael Jordan would score 30, both had great performances. Except there was only enough room for one of them on the cover of the sports section every morning, and we know who that was . I just saw breaking news about China's biggest star on the track. He has a injured ankle/foot, and had to pull out. Very sad news, I couldn't imagine training for 4 years, and then getting hurt at the last second.

This new scoring system that they have for gymnastics is really weird. It has a lot to do with the difficulty rating of what you are attempting to do...

I suppose that depends on your channel/broadcasting network. My NBC station says tonight will be "U.S. women's beach volleyball semifinal. Also, coverage of gymnastics, trampoline and track". But I also watch on CNBC, MSNBC, and a Canadian channel.

I just got down watching the uneven bars, and I'm convinced that the new scoring system is completely flawed. How are you going to break a tie using a computer, and a cheap mathematical equation? Not only that, but I think the judges are blind.
screw the tie breaking procedure (that was pulled out of someone's a**)....WTF is up with the scoring in the first place?? Nastia was A LOT smoother than the 14 year old
Well USA now ahead in overll medals tally while They reduce the gap in Gold to 17 now. Lot's of Gold today and let see what happen today.
CH men just about ran the table on the individual gymnastics events they are machines but at least the men don't look like they are < 16
