Take a breather

Hey all, I posted this similar thread on the general business forum, but I was hoping to talk to others who don't really check that forum at all.

I was hoping to share some thoughts, and maybe meet a few people along the way

My first question is 'What do you do for a living'? Simple. Just answer this as honest as possible. I'm always curious to see what people actually do, whether it's only part-time work, or running several businesses... I always see posts, threads, about people buying/selling work, projects, gigs, etc. but I want to get away from that, rather I want to see WHO YOU ARE! After all, we are humans... not machines!

I myself am an artist, psychology, philosopher, business/marketer, writer, and entrepreneur. I believe it's needed to learn about other's, and just learn new things and experience as much in life!

So, if you could share with me (or us) what you do for a living, then I really look forward to reading your replies. Thanks!!

Good question, but I think you will find that many, many people here work online - buying/selling work, projects, gigs, etc.

For a living? I'm a student studying web design & development, I intend to do this for a living, it's what I enjoy. I'd like to start my own small business around it sometime after I finish university, probably work for an existing company for a few years or so, get experience, a decent sized portfolio and possibly build up a client base. Thats the plan, I wonder how it's going to turn out.

But if you really want to know me...I doubt it could even be put into words. Actually, I doubt many people will ever really know me, even those who have "known" me for years.

Thats like asking why there is shooting in the olympics, it's one of those things no one really knows...
I guess it's an attempt at the Olympics not being all about athletic abillity or something I don't know.
