You can definitely go for more directory submissions, its always better because that can easily get you more pages indexed by Google.

You need to start off with directory submissions fully SEOed for your site. By that, I mean you need to submit to directories using the same information as in your metadata, and the directories should be PR4+. That will help you increase PR fast, which is great.

Next would be social bookmarking, at least to buzz.yahoo.com, digg.com, and del.icio.us, which will help you get more search engine traffic. If you get more social bookmarking then thats even better!
