Which are the most best hosting companies?

I hear more about hostgator. But they are too pricey. I am using godaddy and i am satisfied.

They are too costly. I used them once. You know one thing they use theplanet.com servers.

    they oversell

and will suspend your account if you exceed the bandwidth though the bandwidth they show up is much more than what they allow

Don't go for a cheap host, remember you get what you pay for ;) I used to use a cheap host and my site had loads of problems. I have moved to Host gator and now my site has never been down and I am quite pleased with their customer service also.

Not actually it depends a lot on economy of scale. If yours is only a simple web site, having your own servers is overkill. It would be much better to get a shared hosting on some of the more reputable hosts.

There is no really a best host, only the host that is best or most suitable for your needs.

    Exactly!

One company for example could be concerned about the price, another one could be worried about the Bandwidth.

It's all comes down to what your requirements are.

Hostgator is great. I have used bluehost.com and it seemed like there was always a problem and when there wasn't problems my sites were very slow to load. So far no problems with hostgator.com

If you are expecting a lot of traffic spikes I would go with someone reliable like media temple
