bump to that. I've bought the 4, 5 and 6 bladers 'fusion' and whatever else they are called. Did not find them to give a 'good shave' compared to the Mach 3. Blades were too thin and close together. Bic used to have a disposable called 'metals' I believe, it was all metal, no plastic, just a wire around the blades. Worked awesome! 'if you didn't mind hacking your face up a bit!'
Gillette Mach 3. In the past i tried the vibrating one but never replaced the battery when it ran out as i feel it gave a less close shave, the vibrations keep it from cutting low enough. Btw, got a terrible habit if dragging a brand new blade sideways, ive lost count of the times that the side of my neck has looked like someones tried to cut my throat.
i've used both the fusion and mach 3, and I like the fusion a lot more. the handle is way nicer, and its heavier.
I'm not really a fan on beards but I like my stubble. I don't use the classic shavers most use, I prefer a straight razor. They give a cleaner cut and stay sharp for a long time. The one below is identical just without the text on the blade. KP
I use a Remington electric and cheap disposables. Just depends on my mood. I usually use the trimmer on the Remington for my face so I can keep that one-day-beard look in case a male part opens up on Lost. Then I either use the razor part of the electric or disposable to clear the neck hair.
