Hi. I want to know Your experience with all these parking companies. I have found lately blog with only one post comparing these 4 but I'm still not sure (and exactly same TOPIC). I love Parked and my new revenue comparing to Sedo, every domain goes higher. Is it with all domains or am I just lucky. Do Sedo, Fabulous and Namedrive offer better conversion and PPC for different types of domain and can they beat revenue. This blog I found lately describes that every company is better in anything else but I'm more then happy with Parked and I think Sedo can't even touch it. Not a spam http://domain-parking-comparison.blogspot.com Thank You for any personal experience, opinions and tips&tricks. Share them with us.
Personally, I see sedo as more of a place that you park whilst you're waiting for them to sell. I've heard good reviews about NameDrive for parking because the amount of revenue earned. I use Sedo a lot, and don't find it hard to navigate, but I did to begin with. It's something that needs getting used and I'm not best impressed about the revenues I'm getting. There is no way to settle this dispute because they are all good for different things. NameDrive might be best for a movie domain, whereas Sedo might be best for a technology domain and etc. The only way to find out which is right for you is to park your domain for a month with each of the parking companies and then review which has done best and go with that. In response to the developing vs parking, I would recommend developing over parking every time.
I happen to agree. Sedo is primarily a Marketplace (IMO), the parking is incidental...I will grant that it is also very convenient. A resounding YES on developing. I do not think parking should be the ultimate destination for domain names...but rather, more of a "stage", if and when necessary. .
Namedrive is fine but still Parked is step ahead. But still each domain with different traffic, keywords, original niche (if dropped) makes different less or more in each company. No parking company makes most with anything parked there. But Parked is somehow superior. I have new expired domain parked there, some religious blog and it makes 30-40% CTR since I've parked it. In 15-30 days, I'll have 120$ I've invested at tdnam aftermarket. Call me lucky
Hi guys, It's nice to see such an open discussion about domain parking. I am glad to hear positive feedback about NameDrive. But I agree with GingerApple that different domains work better on different parking platforms. All the major parking companies have strong points and to see which one suits you best it is always a good idea to test your domains on various platforms. zabijaq - you seem to be doing well at parked. It is a little hard to judge if you have not tested all the parking companies but good that you started an open discussion about it.
Aidan, I see Your point . Parked is awesome in my case but I have friends with national .sk .cz domains that are using Namedrive and it beats compatition for such traffic. As I allways say, nothing works for everyone. That's why there are tons of sponsors, affiliates, parking companies, each very successful. BTW when there will be tracking cookie for referral program? Atleast 7 day cookie will help. This was one lucky day for expired domain about insurance with small remaining traffic:
Somebody else did some research comparing Parked, Sedo, Namedrive, Whypark. http://www.namepros.com/parking-and-traffic-monetization/510515-test-program-progress-sedo-vs-parked.html Results> 1. Parked 2. Namedrive 3. Whypark 4. Sedo - total rip-off
See screenshot stats and then figure out what§s best for You. IMO Parked is one of best Parking companies for any domain portfolio: COMPARISON 1 COMPARISON 2 About Parked
