    I think China will lead this year's olympic because the game's hosted in their own country which will increase their confidence. They are currently leading with 37 Gold Medals as I know.

    It depends what you mean by winning the Olympic games. If you mean by medal count then I don't think there's any question that China are going to win. But I don't think you get any extra prize for finishing top of the medal table.

    I think they are going to be the leading gold medal winner in this Olympics. because they have done their best for this games...and if you track their performance from last few games you will find that it was continuously increasing. So there will be no surprise if they emerge as a winner.

    From the start, they were favourites to win overall. And have the most Gold medals. When you host the event, you are more likely to do well. USA will probably finish second, and third will be a close battle between GB and other places.

    China are 15 ahead of US GB are 8 or so behind US and Aus is 5 behind GB
