I advice everyone to Make 2 PayPal Accounts, Use One for selling/buying Purpose and other for Money Transferring Purpose... Get money in 1 account Transfer it to second account immediately .. thats all..
thats not wise idea.... you will get -tive balance if you transfer the money to other account... when your customer reverse it... then paypal will limit both your account....=)) these types of tricks dont always work.... maybe for one time... but sure one account will get -tive balance when a reversal is made.... and paypal will take your money from your other account because of -tive balance.... and you could end up getting your name blocked from paypal.... meaning you will not be able to open a acount on paypal again under the same name.... there are lots of other tricks to stop frauds in paypal... just google it... and join different forums.... it took me almost one year to find out how to stop frauds on paypal.... and now no one can reverse a payment from me..... but i found my secret on google and lots of other forums.... so if you seek you will find.... you only have to give lots of time.... so my suggestion to you is join anti paypal sites like paypalsuck etc. etc... because there you will find lots of peoples who have over come this problem... and also use google in every possible keyword search....
Doing something is better than nothing, Selling digital Products isn't safe, it has 80% chance of chargeback & you will loose money...
So true, I recently sold around $300 worth of game currency then after a month or so the buyer filed a chargeback. Good thing that account wasnt under my name and I transferred the money to my main account right after the transaction. It's really hard to sell intangible products.
your wrong... its not 80%.... i agree that lots fraudulant payments are done on paypal then any other payment processing... but still its not 80%.. i will say its 5%... people who get 80% fraudulant payment must be not giving there customers there products... i been selling my softwares from almost 4 years now.... and out of 100 customers 2 or 4 reversal are made... same thing goes with other honest online business.... i believe when 80% reversals are made then the seller much be not doing honest business or the seller is not getting good customers..... 80% is too much dont you think? however your idea of transfering the fund from one paypal account to another is a good idea except it wont help in long term because paypal watching every transactions made.... and sooner or later they will find your transactions when someone will setup a disupte on your aonther account... this can bring you more trouble.... what hav0c said is 100% right... because if someone setup a dispute on you, paypal will limit all your accounts.... which can be really painful...
That "something" that you've mentioned will not protect you from a chargeback and your "80%" statistic is false. Transferring the money from one account to another after you receive payments may look suspicious for one and it will not protect the account that initially received the money since that account would have a negative balance in the occurence of a chargeback.
when i said 80% I kept DigitalPoint Forums BST section in my mind, 80% of stuff beeing sold here is crap/copied/stolen stuff, people come here, do some frauds and run away.. even if i sell my legit product to a guy, my payment will be at risk for at least 60 days.. i am not just saying this, it happened to me while selling products here, You will always loose dispute if you are selling digital products off course i am not talking about other big markets.. Do not use your second account for any other transaction, just use it as your "Money Bank" so there will not be any dispute and at least your one account will be safe.. and you won't loose money even if you loose dispute.. I agree i am not thinking about first account.....you have a to go in a little dirty way if u want to save money..!!
i know the risk of selling products on a forum as lots of frauds hangout on forums.... but the tick you are using is not really wise because of several reversal will be made from you, then paypal will track your payment send and when they will see you transfer the money to a another account then you might put your account in trouble...
Anyway It was just an idea... I didn't try it, Use it at your own Risk, If anyone have a better idea... he/she can Post it here...
Chargeback would just put you in a negatinve status and if not resolved you would either have to pay it or start another paypal account. eventually they will catch on
